2018 – 2019 Class Calendar:

September 10, 2018 – Opening Day
October 31, 2018 – Closed at 4:00 for Halloween
November 20^th 2018 – Costume Deposits Due
November 21 - 25, 2018 – Closed for Thanksgiving
December 23, 2018 – January 1, 2019 – Closed for Winter Break (reopen Jan. 2nd)
February 25, 2019 – Costume Balances Due
April 19 - 25, 2019 – Closed for Spring Break (reopen Fri. 26th)
May 24 – 27, 2019 – Closed for Memorial Day
June 1, 2019 - Picture Day
June 15, 2019 – Dress Rehearsal, Mt. Olive Middle School
June 16, 2019 – Recital, Mt. Olive Middle School

Dress Code:

All classes require the appropriate dance shoe. No student shall dance barefoot or in socks for their own safety. Jeans are not acceptable dancewear.

Ballet and Lyrical: All levels - Solid black leotard, pink tights, black skirt and ballet shoes. Lyrical classes need a lyrical shoe.

First Steps: Optional color leotard, pink tights, and ballet shoes.

Combo Classes: Optional color leotard, pink tights, and ballet or jazz and tap shoes.

Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop: All Levels - tank top, jazz pants, beige jazz shoe or tap shoe. Hip hop can also wear sneakers, but they

must be clean, not street shoes. Hip hop can wear baggy sweat pants, t-shirts and look funky!

Weather Closings and Delayed Openings:
For the safety of our students and staff, we do not take chances with the weather. Please call the dance studio (908)852-5209 for recorded closing announcements or check our Facebook page.

Class Placement:
Students are placed in classes according to age and ability. If at any time an instructor feels that a placement is incorrect, you will be notified and a correction will be made.

Make-Up Classes:
If a class is missed due to illness, vacations, etc., students are welcome to make up that class. Please call the desk or ask your child's instructor, to find out which class is appropriate for the make-up class. There are no refunds for missed classes for any reason.

Pointe Class:
Pointe class is by permission only. Pointe shoes must be correctly fitted. In order to take any Pointe class, you must also take two ballet or a ballet and lyrical class during the week.
